Why do we have these policies?

MINIMUM:

Just as restaurants don't reserve tables for people who aren't dining - we don't reserve space for people who aren't dining and/or drinking.  As a business, we simply cannot afford to allocate seating to people who don't intend to support it.  Our modest minimum of $200 assures that we don't lose valuable business.  And for a group of 10 we're only talking about $20 per person.  Our games are free and we feel that's a great value by itself.  

ADVANCE NOTICE OF CANCELATION:

If we have reserved a space for you, chances are we are turning other reservation requests away.  This is why we require more than 24 hour notice.

21+ AFTER 7PM:

Regarding children, we love them, we have them, but in short - we are not Chuck E Cheese.  We are a bar and our environment was not designed with kids in mind.  While we welcome families with children before 7pm, our staff is not equipped to monitor 20 kids running around unsupervised, so no parties.  We hope you understand.

CAKE AND CORKAGE FEES:

We sell wine and food, including desserts.  Cakes are also messy and our staff has to clean up after them.

DRESS CODE AFTER 7:

Because we keep it classy up in here.  There are plenty of dive bars and sports bars that don't care what you wear...they also don't care how you treat their space.  We are proud of ours and we want to keep it nice and we have found that people who take the time to put on a nice shirt when they go out also respect our furniture, bathrooms, and staff.
